What to expect: The initial cupping application may feel like added tension, but that feeling tends to dissipate after about 3 seconds and has a sedating affect to your nervous system. NOTE Cupping may leave light pink to dark purple circular marks that could last hours to weeks. These discolorations are not painful and are a result from dead/stagnant blood cells being brought to the skin’s surface. They tend to accumulate less with more frequent applications.
