This was my first visit with Melissa and only my second professional massage. Melissa was friendly, helpful and the massage was very comprehensive and relaxing. The office atmosphere is also excellent. Clean and quiet.

I am so glad that I had two deep tissue massage sessions with Melissa prior to surgery. My pre-op stress had triggered headaches and body aches and pains that I worried would impede recovery. After the two sessions, I am headache free, free of upper body muscle pain, and feeling MUCH more relaxed and positive. I am looking forward to working with Melissa after surgery and beyond. We moved to Michigan in 2020 (yep during Covid) from Massachusetts. I left behind my long time therapeutic masseuse who had helped me navigate chronic back issues and kept me loose enough to continue playing ice hockey. Ahhhhhhh-mazing! Yes I live out of town and yes she is family, but I wish I lived closer so that I could take advantage of her amazing skills more often! The massage table is in a private room modestly decorated with her many certificates, pressure point posters, and beautiful original art works. Where she is trained in neuromuscular, Thai, cupping, I enjoyed the Swedish style massage. Melissa is very attentive to her customer's needs. She helped me with some of my tightness issues across my back, hips, and legs. She multitasked by using cupping techniques to help alleviate pain/tightness in places while massaging other key areas. Melissa is great and I'd highly recommend her.

I will start by saying this is one of the very BEST massages I have ever had. And that's saying something, because l've had a lot, AND I'm picky! Melissa is very talented, and gifted. She has over 750 hours of schooling and it actually shows. She is trained in Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Swedish, Thai and excellent at Sports Injury. She is ABMP insured and Nationally Certified. She's hard to get into at the last minute, but this week I was lucky. And I needed it. I had a knot inside my shoulder blade the size of golf ball, and completely limited the use of my entire arm. 1 hour later-GONE! I really like her style. She spent several minutes to ensure she asked the right questions about how it had been hurt, why it was hurt, asking what my expectation of the massage was going to be, and then explaining her game plan of how she was going to address the concerns. Also, has it has been said before, she sad extremely reasonable rates. I will be back... and I will be back often! Easily 5 STARS!
